DESCRIPTION:Hanuman Jayanti* (mostly in North India) \nChaitra Purnima (Satyanarayan Pooja at Temple) \nSri Hanuman Jayanti will be celebrated on Chaitra Purnima Wednesday\, April 1st from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Special Anjaneya Abhishek will be performed with chanting of Sri Hanuman Chalisa\, followed by Puja\, Bhajans and Aarti at 7:30 pm. You may bring small quantity of milk (one liter or less)\, yogurt\, honey\, flowers and fruits for Abhishek and Puja. Please join in the celebrations! \nThe celebration of Hanuman Jayanti varies by time and tradition in each state of India. In most northern states of India\, the festival is observed on Chaitra Purnima. \nPlease note Satyanarayana Pooja will NOT take place at the Temple on this Purnima day. \nIf you wish to volunteer\, please register using this link. \nFor further information you can call the Temple at 613-822-1531.
